U.S. Border Patrol were involved in a shooting in Blaine near the Canadian border, police said Tuesday morning.
The shooting took place in a residential area of the small border town north of Bellingham on the corner of Fourth and A streets, Blaine police said.
There is no threat to the public, police said.
The circumstances of the shooting are not known, nor if there were any injuries or fatalities.
