A 15-year-old was arrested Tuesday in connection with an east Pasco shooting that left a man seriously hurt. He told emergency dispatchers he was shot in the back and didn't know who pulled the trigger.
Pasco police and agents with the U.S. Marshals Service arrested the teen in connection with the Aug. 26 shooting, according to the Pasco police Facebook page.
The teen was taken to the Benton-Franklin Juvenile Detention Center in Kennewick on suspicion of first-degree assault. His name was not released.
On Aug. 26, police were called to the area around East Butte Street and South Owen Avenue about 12:30 a.m. after people heard three gunshots fired.
About the same time, dispatchers received a call from the man who said he had been shot.
Officers found him on a sidewalk with several gunshot wounds, according to police.
No other information was released about the case.
