A funeral service for Harold Borovec, a longtime rail engineer, steam train preservationist and beloved Chehalis community member who died June 10 at the age of 96, will be held at 2 p.m. on July 29 at the Veterans Memorial Museum in Chehalis.
“We originally identified the venue for his funeral service as the First Christian Church in Chehalis, but circumstances have changed, and we had to move the venue to the Veterans Memorial Museum in Chehalis,” Borovec’s family stated in an email to The Chronicle this week.
The date and time of the service remains the same as originally announced.
