Residents are invited to a free class, “Finding Your Patriot Ancestor,” from 10 a.m. to noon on Saturday, Sept. 19, at the Veterans Memorial Museum, 100 SW Veterans Way, Chehalis.
“Would you like to join the Sons of the American Revolution, the Daughters of the American Revolution, or have your kids join the Children of the American Revolution?” event organizers asked in a news release. “Or maybe you are just curious about your ancestors 250 years ago? Learn how to find people in your own family tree who helped to establish our nation.”
The event is sponsored by the Ann Cochran Chapter of the National Daughters of the American Revolution Society.
