The Mossyrock boys basketball team got back in the win column on Thursday, taking care of business in a 77-27 blowout win over Firm Foundation.

The Mossyrock offense was humming throughout, as the Vikings piled up 46 points in the first half and had 67 after three quarters of play.

The Vikings (8-5, 6-1 1B Columbia Valley) were moving the ball around with ease, tallying 25 assists on their 37 made field goals.

Zack Munoz led all scorers with 18 points, but Tyce Vigre (14), Hunter Isom (10), and Ethan Johnson (10) also finished in double-figures.

Easton Kolb only tallied five points, but he was making plays all over the rest of the floor, grabbing 11 rebounds, dishing out seven assists and logging six steals.

Mossyrock was just as impressive on the defensive end, allowing just 15 points in the first half and just two points in the fourth quarter.

At 6-1 in league play, the Vikings are just a half-game back of first-place Naselle, who they’ll play for a second time on Thursday. In the first matchup between the two teams in December, Mossyrock won 83-59.

Before that rematch, the Vikings will host Three Rivers Christian on Tuesday.
