The Mossyrock boys basketball team handled its business on Tuesday night, dominating the Washington School for the Deaf in an 81-32 win.

They played us real tough down at their place and we wanted to make a statement,” Mossyrock assistant coach Kelly Ross said. “We came out with pressure on defense and focused on pushing the ball offensively. They were not able to match our intensity.”

Mossyrock (9-6, 7-2 1B Columbia Valley) stormed out of the gate and took an 18-6 lead after one, and they led by 32 at halftime.

Tyce Vigre led Mossyrock with 20 points, while Zack Munoz hit four threes en route to a 16-point outing.

Hunter Isom and Luke Cooper led the way on the boards with seven rebounds each, while Cooper also dished out six assists and Kolb nabbed six steals. The Vikings were all over the place defensively, tallying 22 steals on the night.

The Vikings are back on the road on Friday, when they’ll head to Pe Ell.
