The Mossyrock football team's offense hit a new level Saturday in Pierce County, putting up 10 touchdowns in a 72-24 win over Sound Christian at Curtis High School.

Sophomore quarterback Easton Kolb accounted for six of the Vikings' 10 touchdowns, finishing with 120 rushing yards on 16 carries. He also went 8 for 11 through the air for 107 more yards.

Tailback Sage Greisen only scored three touchdowns himself, but posted a team-best 140 yards on the ground, averaging over 10 yards per carry on his 13 runs.

Marshall Brockway added 60 yards, and Wylde Greisen had 30.

All told, Mossyrock ran for 364 yards as a unit, at a clip over 7.5 yards per carry.

The Vikings, as they've been wont to do this fall, blitzed their foe early, finding the end zone four times in the opening quarter to go up 30-6. Through four games, Mossyrock has scored 102 points in the first period.

The onslaught only lessened slightly in the second, with the Vikings leading 44-12 at halftime. Kolb found the end zone twice more in the third quarter, then hit paydirt once more in the fourth, before Zackary Munoz ran in the 10th and final touchdown of the evening.

Mossyrock (4-0) will look to keep the machine humming next Friday, at home against Taholah.
