The Mossyrock softball team picked up its first victory of the season on Monday, running away with a 13-1 victory over Morton/White Pass in Randle.
The Vikings were as consistent as one can be at the plate, scoring in all six innings, including nine runs across the final three.
Zoella Zadovsky went 1-2, drove in three runs, and scored three more, while Adrianna Morales picked up two hits and two RBIs of her own. Sadi Rashoff also drove in two runs, as did Brooke Schwartz.
In the circle, Rashoff allowed just four hits and one earned run while walking seven and striking out 10.
Gracie Ford went 1 for 3 and drove in MWP’s lone run, while Katie Jordan hit a double and drew two walks in three trips to the plate. Bazil Boles also picked up a hit.
Both teams will be back in action on Wednesday, when Mossyrock (1-1) travels to Tenino and MWP (1-2) heads to Naselle.
