Vikings stifle Eagles in dominant victory

The Mossyrock boys basketball team had its way nearly the entire game on Monday against Three Rivers Christian, as the Vikings came away with a dominant 78-12 victory.

The Vikings (11-6, 9-2 1B Columbia Valley) jumped out to a 25-3 lead after one and led 44-11 at the break. 

The Mossyrock defense delivered a nearly flawless second half, allowing just one free throw and no field goals.

Hunter Isom led the way offensively with 19 points, though he was just one of four Vikings who scored 10 or more.

Zack Munoz tallied 17 points and Shaun Fry logged a double-double with 13 points and 15 rebounds. Easton Kolb just missed out on a triple-double, scoring 15 points while also recording nine rebounds and nine assists.

Mossyrock plays at Willapa Valley on Friday.
