The Mossyrock boys basketball team came away with its third-straight win on Friday, topping Pe Ell on the road 70-34.

The Vikings (10-6, 8-2 1B Columbia Valley) had the advantage from the jump, as they raced out to a 16-6 lead after one and a 35-11 lead at halftime.

We came out and played extremely well defensively and had momentum from the tip,” Mossyrock assistant coach Kelly Ross said. “This was the energy we have been searching for from our team since we began and it was great to see our team respond in a hostile atmosphere.”

Mossyrock poured it on in the third, adding 25 points to erase any doubt. Four Vikings scored in double-figures, led by Zack Munoz with 14. Munoz also dished out six assists and grabbed three steals. Luke Cooper and Easton Kolb each tallied six steals, and as a team, Mossyrock totaled 24.

Tyce Vigre and Hunter Isom scored 13 points each, and Kolb added 10.

The Trojans (7-11, 7-5 1B Columbia Valley) will host their senior night on Tuesday against Naselle before finishing the regular season on Thursday at Columbia Adventist.

Mossyrock will host Three Rivers Christian on Monday and Columbia Adventist on Tuesday before wrapping up at Willapa Valley on Friday.
