The Washington Orthopaedic Center, a local provider of orthopaedic care since 1973, announced in a news release this week that it continues to serve the community, even after a flood caused by burst pipes in January.
“Despite the challenges, the center remains open, showing resilience and dedication to patient care,” the center stated in the release.
The flood affected the Centralia clinic, but the center adapted. Patient care has moved to a temporary office in the clinic’s parking lot, with additional services being offered in the physical therapy office and the ambulatory surgery center on site. The Olympia office is also fully operational, ready to see patients.
“The team at Washington Orthopaedic Center is committed to providing the same high level of care and expertise, even in these temporary settings,” the center stated.
“We're so thankful for the support and understanding from our community during this time,” said Dr. Keith Birchard, a surgeon from the center. “Your health and wellbeing are our top priorities, and we’re here to make sure you get the care you need without delay. We're working hard to keep any inconvenience to a minimum.”
