The W.F. West boys wrestling team won its first dual meet of the season on Tuesday, defeating Elma 49-19.
Lewis Allen (138), Race Scalici (150), and Andrew Snyder (175) won their matchups by tech fall, while Liam Land (144) and Grayson Serl (165) won by major decision.
Beau Guyette (157) also earned a win, winning his matchup by decision.
Ryker Jensen (106), Kage Homan (190), Tucker Land (215), and Denzel Leith (285) all won by forfeit.
The Bearcats’ next varsity match will be next Wednesday, Dec. 18, at Centralia.
