W.F. West ran into a buzzsaw in a 2A District 4 Tournament semifinal on Tuesday, falling to Columbia River 5-0.
The Rapids entered the game unbeaten and rolled to their second consecutive district title game appearance.
W.F. West (13-3-1) will now need to win two straight elimination games to earn a state tournament berth.
The Bearcats will play Woodland on Thursday in Centralia, and a win would put them in a winner-to-state game against either Tumwater or Ridgefield on Saturday.
