I got this idea about bacon ...

Quillnscroll said something about a bacony dessert, and I remembered that there is chocolate covered bacon. Then I thought, there must be something else ...
So I thought, what if you took some extra crispy fried bacon, crunched it up very finely, stirred it into gently melted chocolate, and used it as potato chip or pretzel dip? Hmmm? Sounds pretty good to me.
You could make the chocolate mellower by whipping in some cream cheese or mascarpone.
Bananas were mentioned, but I am not so sure about that. I do wonder about drizzling same said melty chocolatey bacony stuff over char-grilled pineapple-ham skewers.
Or just put a little over vanilla ice cream ...

I think you’re on to something. The salty/sweet thing makes me weak in the knees and quite honestly, there is nothing that sounds funky about your ideas, they sound absolutely delicious.
