From May 26-29, Winlock fifth grade students will attend the Cispus Learning Center in Randle, and supporters are looking to raise money to support the outing.
This program has students engage in hands-on learning experiences such as outdoor life skills, salmon ecology, forest management, geology, teambuilding, archery, a challenge course and many other activities as students stay at the Cispus Learning Center.
To help make this experience possible for all students, Winlock Student Community Advocates and the district are currently fundraising toward the goal of $25,000. Half of that goal has been met, but community support is needed to continue this long-standing tradition.
There are two upcoming fundraisers:
• Panda Express Fundraiser — Saturday, May 16th (all day) at the Chehalis location. A printed or digital flyer must be shown at checkout for proceeds to benefit the program. To learn more, visit https://tinyurl.com/ym57zjp7.
• Quick Quack Car Wash Fundraiser — Happening now through May 15. A portion of every car wash purchased through the fundraiser link will go directly toward supporting our students. For more information, visit https://tinyurl.com/yn2na6ek.
In addition, a donation link is available for those who would like to contribute directly at https://tinyurl.com/4xtw7mjj.
