Despite the loss, the Riverhawks are still in contention with Morton-White Pass (1-8 league) and Rainier (1-8 league) for the ninth and final C2BL district playoff berth. All three teams have one league victory.

“We still have a shot at districts,” Toledo coach Brianna Klingberg said. “I’m hopeful my girls can pull it out and win later this week, whether it be Wednesday or a tiebreaker. They’re finally coming together and I’m excited for the potential these girls have.”

Toledo (5-9, 1-8 league) travels to Wahkiakum on Wednesday. Winlock (5-6, 4-5 league) next awaits district playoff seeding for the district tournament on Saturday.
