The Centralia-Chehalis Chamber of Commerce will host a ribbon-cutting ceremony for Bark n’ Bath ahead of the grand opening of the Winlock business.
The ceremony will be held at noon, Thursday, Feb. 20, at Bark n’ Bath, 301 NE First St., Winlock, followed by the business’s grand opening event on Saturday, Feb. 22.
Bark n’ Bath is the first self-wash and groomer of its kind in the area, with large tubs that can fit dogs up to 250 pounds, according to the chamber. In addition to offering self-wash and grooming services, Bark n’ Bath has locally made dog treats from Rochester, Longview and other parts of Washington.
The business plans to begin providing dog massages next month.
The grand opening on Saturday, Feb. 22, will include a charcuterie board for human attendees, a “barkcuterie” board for the dogs, coffee by Mobile Mermaid Espresso and a chance to win a $100 gift card. Additionally, the first 25 people will receive 50% off a self-wash.
The public is invited to join the celebration for both the ribbon-cutting ceremony and the grand opening.
The Centralia-Chehalis Chamber of Commerce hosts ribbon cutting ceremonies for local businesses that are expanding, rebranding or celebrating significant milestones. The ceremonies are available for both members and non-members of the chamber.
