The Black Hills boys soccer team opened up 2A EvCo play with a win on the road, beating Rochester 4-1 on Tuesday.
Rochester’s goal came in the 52nd minute off of a penalty kick by Gabriel Fernandez Sales. Black Hills’ scorers were not reported.
“We played hard throughout the game, but Black Hills is a good team,” Rochester coach Matt Ashton said. “It was a pretty physical game.”
Black Hills will return home Thursday to face Tumwater, while Rochester will play Centralia on Friday.
