Wolves take care of Highclimbers in sweep

The Black Hills volleyball team capped off the regular season with its fourth consecutive sweep, downing Shelton 25-22, 25-7, 25-7.

Ashley Harris had 16 kills to lead the offense for the Wolves (11-4, 10-2 2A EvCo), and also had three aces. Ava Klovas had four kills, and Claire Johnson and Ella Goheen both had three.

Lilly Kincaid dished out 23 assists, and also led the Wolves at the service line with six aces. Madi Malone had a team-high 10 digs on defense, while Goheen and Klovas both had two blocks.

Black Hills takes the No. 2 seed from the 2A EvCo into the 2A District 4 tournament; the Wolves will face R.A. Long at Tumwater in the first round next Thursday.
