Authorities contacted a woman Wednesday morning at the Centralia Police Department after she allegedly tried to quash her warrant with a counterfeit $100 bill.
According to police, the woman then paid with a legitimate $100 bill and was able to quash her warrant.
The Centralia Police Department posted about the incident on Facebook Thursday.
“Y’all. Don’t use counterfeit money,” the department wrote. “Especially don’t use it to try to quash your warrant.”
