Women United to accept donations for fifth annual Cozy Kids Coat Drive through Nov. 29

Women United will accept new coats, hoodies and gloves for its fifth annual Cozy Kids Coat Drive through Nov. 29 to aid Lewis County children who are facing the upcoming winter season without adequate warmth.  

“Your contribution can make a difference. By donating a warm coat or other winter items, you can help ensure that children in Lewis County, from pre-K through high school, stay warm this winter,” Women United said in a news release. “Together, we can ensure that every child in our  community has a warm winter.”

Both girls’ and boys’ sizes are needed, and monetary donations are also welcome, according to a news release. All donations will directly benefit children within Lewis County.

Donations can be dropped off at the United Way of Lewis County office in downtown Chehalis or any of the following participating locations: 

  • Cardinal FG (Winlock) 
  • Cardinal TG (Chehalis) 
  • Cascade Hardwood 
  • Centerville Café 
  • Donna’s Place 
  • The Creamery LC Coffee Co. 
  • Edward Jones — Vanessa Horning 
  • Joy’s Once Upon a Thyme 
  • Lewis County Coffee Company (all locations) 
  • Napavine Chiropractic 
  • The Station 
  • Umpqua Bank, Chehalis 
  • United Way of Lewis County
