Woodland Village in Chehalis will host “Beyond the Myths: What Hospice Really Means” through a presentation by Lindsay Giberson, account executive with Assured Hospice, and featuring a panel of hospice clinicians on Tuesday, Oct. 21 at 6 p.m.
The presentation will cover when hospice is appropriate, what services are included and fully covered by Medicare, how hospice improves quality of life, and support available for family members and caregivers.
This free event is designed for families and caregivers who want to better understand what hospice care truly involves. Presenters will address common myths, answer questions, and share real-life examples of how hospice supports both patients and their loved ones — physically, emotionally and spiritually. Light snacks and refreshments will be provided.
