Lewis County Noxious Weeds, the Lewis County Conservation District, the Lewis County Stream Team, the Chehalis River Basin Land Trust and the City of Centralia are holding a work party on April 22 at 10 a.m. to celebrate Earth Day.
The event will be located at 1011 Goodrich Road in Centralia and attendees are asked to follow the signs.
Participants can help preserve and protect the public space and reduce the spread of noxious weeds, according to a news release.
Attendees are asked to bring gloves, gardening work clothes, a hand trowel or spade, reusable water bottles and a positive attitude.
Snacks and drinks are provided.
