A 57-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of multiple crimes after he drove the wrong way on northbound I-5 in Thurston County and crashed into a semi-trailer truck early Sunday, according to the Washington State Patrol.

The man was booked into jail about 1 a.m. on suspicion of driving under the influence and reckless endangerment.

It was not immediately clear when the wreck happened, but the 57-year-old driver crashed into the truck near Maytown. The impact of the collision caused the truck to roll onto its side, the State Patrol says.

No injuries were reported, said Trooper John Dattilo in a social media post.
