The Adna girls soccer team started fast and never slowed down Wednesday night at home, sinking Ilwaco quickly in a 10-0 win in Central 2B League play.

“We played a very good team game tonight,” Adna coach Patrick Richardson said. “We played together as a unit and did things we’ve worked on in practice.”

Senior Reagan Naillon facilitated a lot of the success for the Pirates (3-4-3, 3-0-1 C2BL), finishing with four assists to go along with a goal of her own in the 27th minute.

Lydia Tobin bagged three goals for Adna, starting the scoring in the fifth minute and striking again in the 14th and the 44th. Sophie Hagseth scored two goals in two minutes in the second half, while Myra Medina also had two goals and Rylee scored one.

Ava Humphrey added three assists for Adna, which finished the night having outshot Ilwaco 29-1.

On a three-game winning streak, Adna will head out to Forks next Monday.
