Adna’s Tristan Percival, The Chronicle’s 2023 All-Area MVP, signed his National Letter of Intent on Thursday, June 6, to play college baseball at Pierce College in Lakewood. The former Adna ace led the Pirates back to the 2B Final Four, posting an ERA of 2.80 and striking out 87 hitters in 45 innings on the mound. He also hit .304, including 10 extra-base hits, drove in 15 runs, and stole 10 bases.
