Posted

Fresh off raising $3,859 for the girls basketball program and $5,342 for the football team earlier this year, Adna business owners Jim and Cindy Smith are now setting their sights on collecting support for the school wrestling program.

The all-you-can-eat Adna Clam and Corn Feed will be held from noon to 6 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 21, at the Adna Grange. It is sponsored by Adna Grocery and Uncle Jim’s Smokehouse.

The cost will be $40 for adults and $15 for children under 12.

Clams, spaghetti, corn, garlic bread, salad and dessert will be available, along with lemonade, water and coffee. There will also be raffle items and alcohol available to purchase.

Proceeds will go to the Adna wrestling program.

The event comes after the Smiths held the Adna Sausage Fest at the grange in May, raising $3,859 for the girls basketball team. They held the Adna Crab Feed in April to collect funds for the football program, raising $5,342.

The Smiths also hosted the Adna Car Show in July, raising funds for the Adna Scholarship Committee. The event was in its fifth year. The car show in Adna raised $7,798 in 2020, $16,698 in 2021, $17,680 in 2022 and $29,350 in 2023.
