The Pirates headed south to the Wilsonville Invitational in Wilsonville, Ore. as they faced stiff competition and the team scores showed it. Their boys team finished with six points and the girls had one point.
Jordan Stout placed sixth in the 1,500-meter run, finishing with a time of 4:18.37. The distance standout was 10th in the open 800 and anchored the 1,600 relay to a ninth place finish with a time of 3:40.12. Kolton Moon took sixth in the 110 hurdles and ninth in the 300 hurdles.
Adna had a handful of top-35 finishes in multiple events on the boys side. For the girls, its lone point scorer was Lillian Boyd in the shot put, uncorking a throw of 31-10.05 to record an eighth place finish and she placed 11th in the discus.
The Pirates’ Lydia Tobin heaved the javelin to finish ninth while their 400 relay slotted in 10th place with a time of 53.38 seconds.
