The first Associated Press high school state football poll of the 2021 season was released Wednesday afternoon.
Four schools in The Chronicle’s coverage area made the top-10 lists, with Tumwater ranking No. 1 in Class 2A with all eight first-place votes. Onalaska tied with Kalama for No. 1 in the 2B ranks with 63 voting points each. The Loggers garnered three first-place votes to the Chinooks’ two. Napavine is ranked third with two first-place votes and Toledo is ranked No. 8.
