Bearcats send out seniors with non-league draw

After struggling to put together 80 minutes of shutout defense for the last couple of matches, the W.F. West boys soccer team didn’t allow Seton Catholic to get comfortable and the showdown ended in a 0-0 draw on Thursday night.

It marked the final regular season home game for the Bearcats. They close the Evergreen Conference slate next week at Rochester before turning their attention to the district tournament.

“Great non-league game against a great team,” W.F. West head coach Allen Anderson said. “Pretty even matchup, both teams played a solid game.”

The Bearcats were kept off the scoreboard for just the third time this season.
