Bearcats Blast Past Highclimbers

With eight runs over the first two innings, the W.F. West softball team handled Shelton Wednesday, 13-2. 

Kamy Dacus went all six innings for the Bearcats, striking out 10 with just four hits and two earned runs allowed. Dacus also starred at the plate, batting 2 for 4 with four RBIs. Saige Brindle matched Dacus at the plate with four runs batted in on a 2 for 4 day.

Brindle and Lena Fragner both smacked doubles in the win. 

The Bearcats will look to keep it rolling in the Swamp Cup against Centralia on Thursday.
