A mixed up lineup did little to deter the W.F. West boys tennis team on Friday, as the Bearcats left Shelton with a convincing 6-0 win.
Javyn Han and Bryce Kuykendall both had success in their first singles matches of the year, while a couple of new duos also had success in doubles matches. The Bearcats only dropped 14 games across the six matches.
“It was good to see that their chemistry worked well together even only after playing one match together,” W.F. West coach Megan Wellander said. “And the singles did a good job of finishing their points and finishing the opportunities they were given … It was a good day.”
