In a tight match on the greens in Yelm at the Tahoma Valley Golf Course, the Tenino boys golf team dropped a league matchup to Elma, 181-188 Tuesday afternoon.
Still enjoying the good weather, the Beavers kept pace with their rivals with some consistent scores.
David Dallaire and Ethan Baxter tied for the highest score for the Beavers, with both carding a 45. Jaxson Gore (47), Carson Hart (51), Preston Snider (54), and Easton Snider (53) rounded out Tenino’s scores.
In a standout day, Robby Allen took home match medalist honors from Elma, occupying their fourth spot in the lineup and carding a 39.
The Beavs host Hoquiam at Tahoma Valley on Thursday for their next match.
