Beavers Win First League Game Against Cruisers

Taking home a dominant, 16-3, 1A Evergreen League victory on the road, the Tenino softball team won its first league game of the season Friday afternoon against Eatonville. 

Chloe Grayless was stellar in the circle, throwing all five innings and giving up three unearned runs on just one hit and two walks. She struck out eight in the strong performance. 

Sophia Hussey went 2 for 4 at the plate with two runs scored, three RBIs, and a double, and Lizzy Disken went 1 for 2 with two walks drawn, four runs scored, and an RBI knock. 

The Beavers will look to build on the win against Elma at home Tuesday.
