Bigfoot Treasure in Chehalis has been evolving and expanding its eclectic mix of jewelry, gifts and souvenirs.

The public is invited to attend its grand opening and ribbon-cutting ceremony at noon on Tuesday, Nov. 14. The business is located at 548 N. Market Blvd. in downtown Chehalis. The event includes discounts, treats and raffles for great prizes from Bigfoot Treasure.

Mitch Moberg has been a business owner in Chehalis for the past 14 years and wanted to develop a unique retail atmosphere, according to a news release from the Centralia-Chehalis Chamber of Commerce.

“Bigfoot Treasure has become that experience,” the chamber stated. “Bigfoot Treasure is an eclectic adventure for those appreciative of humor and sarcasm. The store offers a vast array of fun merchandise including jewelry, coloring books, greeting cards, T-shirts, signs and novelties. Much of the inventory is made in the USA by small businesses who specialize in wit.”

Bigfoot Treasure has sasquatch at the core. For those seeking sasquatch and enjoying the outdoors, this is the store, according to the chamber.

Bigfoot books and merchandise to encourage critical thought and exploration of the outdoors are part of the mix.

Moberg said he has noticed more tourists exploring downtown Chehalis and Bigfoot Treasure. Moberg has met visitors from across America, Canada and Europe over the last year.

The Centralia-Chehalis Chamber of Commerce encourages the public to join the celebration and take time to adventure among the aisles of Bigfoot Treasure.
