The Centralia City Council voted unanimously on Tuesday night to consider the annexation of West Reynolds Avenue.
The proposed annexation area is located around Interstate 5, with a large section being located directly across from the Eddie Bauer store in the Centralia Outlet Mall.
Councilor Mark Westley, reflecting on his family’s experience in the area, expressed flood-related concerns with the annexation but ultimately supported the proposal.
