Centralia United Methodist Church announced in a recent news release that it is offering a four-week study on “Bringing Hope Through Kindness” to be led by the Rev. Alta Smith, a former pastor at the church.
All are welcome.
Beginning at 10 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 5 in the Mary Room, the four areas to be discussed are:
• Week 1: The Power of Kindness (Oct. 5)
• Week 2: Finding Common Ground (Oct. 12)
• Week 3: Malice Toward None ... Charity for All (Oct. 19)
• Week 4: Jesus, Politics and Religion (Oct. 26)
The church is located at 506 S. Washington Ave. The Mary Room can be reached from the church parking lot or the Washington Avenue entrance, the release stated.
