Centralia woman injured in rear-end collision on U.S. Highway 12 near Salkum on Friday

A 63-year-old Centralia woman was transported to a hospital for treatment after she crashed her vehicle into the back of a trailer on U.S. Highway 12 near Salkum on Friday. 

Both vehicles were reportedly traveling eastbound on U.S. Highway 12 when the trailer, driven by an 83-year-old Toledo man, stopped for traffic at milepost 75 and the Centralia woman crashed her 2007 Honda Accord into the back of the trailer, according to the Washington State Patrol, which responded to the crash just before 9:05 a.m. on Nov. 17. 



The Washington State Patrol has determined following too closely was the cause of the crash. Drugs or alcohol were not involved.
