Reliable Enterprises — a Centralia-based social services organization offering assistance and housing to low-income families and disadvantaged citizens — now has a new executive director.
Andy Skinner, a longtime Lewis County resident who first joined Reliable Enterprises in 2017 as its development director before overseeing its affordable housing program, officially became the Reliable Enterprises executive director on Feb. 6.
“His experience and foundational knowledge in nonprofit management, community development and social service is invaluable as Reliable (Enterprises) continues to grow and serve the community. Andy also served in various community boards and organizations such as Experience Chehalis, Valley View Health Center and the Chehalis Historical Commission, among others,” the release stated. “The board of directors enthusiastically welcomes Andy to lead Reliable Enterprises as the organization continues to expand programs throughout Southwest Washington, build new housing developments and grow our diverse network of community partners.”
Reliable Enterprises’ board also thanked Brett Mitchell — the outgoing executive director — in the release for his work and leadership in temporarily returning to run Reliable Enterprises during its transitional period.
“His leadership and support of Reliable (Enterprises) over the last 24 years was crucial for our success, and we know Andy will continue the legacy of community impact and support,” the release added.
