The keynote speaker is Maximilian Macdonald, owner of Maximilian Motorsports and one of the community CTE partners.

The Business After Hours event and CTE kickoff take place from 5 to 7 p.m. at 342 SW 16th St., Chehalis.

The CTE program is designed to increase the percentage of Chehalis graduates earning postsecondary credentials to set them on a course of success. CTE offers several areas for students to explore: agriculture, business and marketing, family and consumer sciences, health sciences, skilled and technical Sciences and STEM careers.

"We are thrilled about the new and existing course offerings in W.F. West High School's CTE program,” said Don Bunker, W.F. Our CTE program is at the forefront of our school district's mission to 'prepare students for the journey ahead.'”

Bunker invites the Chehalis community, business leaders and families to join them on Oct. 17.

The Centralia-Chehalis Chamber of Commerce offers Business After Hours to be hosted by chamber members on the third Thursday of each month.
