Columbia Sportswear opening at Centralia Outlets

A grand opening for Columbia Sportswear will be held at the Centralia Outlets Aug. 25. 

“A global leader and innovator in outdoor apparel, footwear and equipment, Columbia Sportswear will open its newest clearance store at Centralia Outlets,” a news release from the outlets stated. “For more than 80 years, Columbia has developed innovative products and technologies with one simple goal: To unlock the outdoors for everyone,” the release stated.

Based in the Pacific Northwest, the company’s products are developed and rigorously tested in a variety of weather conditions, according to the release. 



The company continues to adhere to founder Gert Boyle’s mantra, “It’s perfect. Now make it better,” the release stated. 

“We’re excited to announce that the Columbia retail footprint is growing with the opening of a new clearance store in Centralia,” said Russell Anderson, vice president of retail operations for Columbia Sportswear. “Central to Portland, Seattle, mountains and beaches, we have the equipment to fuel your outdoor thrills.
