The Lewis County Board of Commissioners on Tuesday hosted the 2021 Tour of Lights Christmas Awards during its regular business meeting to give recognition to county employees who displayed the most cheer and holiday joy this season.

This year’s coveted “Notable Nutcracker” Award, which goes to the department that displayed the most holiday spirit and did the best job “decking the halls” — or their department — with Christmas decorations, went to Lewis County Public Health & Social Services.

This year’s award ceremony was also attended by two special guests: The Grinch and Finley Swope, Commissioner Sean Swope’s daughter, who played a rendition of “Winter Wonderland” on her fiddle.

The following are the list of award recipients as listed by the Board of County Commissioners’ office:

• Notable Nutcracker: Public Health & Social Services
