Now a staple of downtown Centralia, Dawn’s Delectables is preparing to celebrate its 10-year anniversary on Tuesday, April 18, according to a news release from the coffee, dessert and sandwich shop.

On April 18, customers at Dawn’s can enjoy free drip coffee and 10% off eat-in orders. Then, from 3 to 6 p.m., the bluegrass, classic country and classic rock Prairie Fire Band will perform, while free cupcakes and dolce fine espresso shots are available.

U.S. Air Force veteran Dawn Merchant opened Dawn’s Delectables in 2013 at 204 N. Tower Ave. in downtown Centralia. During the past decade, Dawn’s has earned numerous awards, including through The Chronicle’s “Best of Lewis County,” KELA/KMNT’s “Listener’s Choice” and the United Way of Lewis County’s “Chef’s Night Out,” among others.

“Being a part of this community has been a blessing to myself and my family. I am grateful for the support of my dream. My vision to become a cornerstone in the community, creating a neighborhood atmosphere where everyone feels welcome and becomes instant regulars has been realized,” Merchant said in the release. “I look forward to celebrating our 10th year with everyone.”
