Dick’s Brewing Company to celebrate 30 years of business

Dick’s Brewing Company will celebrate 30 years of business at the August Centralia-Chehalis Chamber of Commerce Business After Hours event.

The public is invited to join owners Julie and Dave Pendleton in hoisting a mug in celebration of the milestone anniversary from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Aug.15, at their warehouse and tasting room located at 3516 Galvin Road in Centralia.

Dick’s Brewing began as a side venture to Dick’s NW Sausage & Deli in 1994. Founder and then-owner Dick Young built a three-barrel brew house behind the deli. In 2009, Dick’s Brewing expanded and moved into its current location as a tasting room. Young passed away that same year, and his daughter, Julie Pendleton, along with her husband, Dave, took over the brewery and NW Sausage companies.

The Business After Hours event offers an opportunity for the community to come together and celebrate Dick’s Brewing.

Business After Hours “is a prime opportunity for networking and fostering connections within the Lewis County business community,” according to the chamber of commerce. “Organized by the Centralia-Chehalis Chamber of Commerce, this monthly event is a cornerstone of local commerce, offering a platform for collaboration and growth. Save the date for the third Thursday of each month and immerse yourself in the vibrancy of Lewis County's business landscape.”
