Driver survives Interstate 5 crash in Thurston County with non-life threatening injuries
The driver of a van was hospitalized with non-life threatening injuries following a crash on northbound Interstate 5 early Saturday morning, according to the West Thurston Fire Authority. The driver collided with a piling at the 93rd Avenue overpass in Thurston County. “After an extended extrication operation, the driver was transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries,” the fire authority wrote. “Accidents like this require technical skills and proper tools to ensure the best outcome.”
