The Oregon Ducks’ road game next Saturday against the Washington Huskies picked up even more fanfare when ESPN “College GameDay” announced it would broadcast from Seattle ahead of the top-10 matchup.

No. 8 Oregon and No. 7 Washington each will enter the matchup undefeated, with 5-0 overll records and 2-0 conference records. Both teams have open dates this Saturday, giving the Ducks and Huskies extra time to prepare for the matchup that is set for 12:30 p.m. PT Saturday, Oct. 14, at Husky Stadium (TV on ABC).

It will be the first trip to Seattle for ESPN’s college football pregame show since 2016 and the third visit overall. Washington lost each of the last two times “GameDay” was in town, losing 26-13 to USC in 2016 and 45-24 to Oregon in 2013.

“GameDay” has been to Eugene 11 times, most recently last season for Oregon vs. UCLA, a game the Ducks won 45-30.
