Fuller Designs and Waymaker Developments to celebrate completion of new building in Centralia

Fuller Designs and Waymaker Developments are officially celebrating the completion of their new building with an open house and ribbon-cutting ceremony on Wednesday, Nov. 8.

Festivities begin at 4:30 p.m. with self-guided tours and an opportunity to meet staff, including owner Aaron Fuller.

The location is in Centralia at 1111 Kresky Ave., Suite 100.

While Fuller Designs focuses primarily on engineering its sister company, Waymaker Developments provides construction expertise, according to a news release from the Centralia-Chehalis Chamber of Commerce.

Fuller, a civil engineer, was born and raised in the Centralia and Chehalis area. He left in the mid 2000s to build mines in Arizona then returned to Washington where he worked as an engineer on some large-scale projects that included the Interstate 5-State Route 16 interchange in Tacoma and the L300 Lite Rail Link Extension between Shoreline and the Lynnwood Mall.

Fuller incorporated Fuller Designs in 2017, but continued to work in the Seattle-area while building his business in Chehalis. In late 2018, he went full-time with his own business, which began from his garage.

Today, On Top Roofing resides in the newly renovated building that Fuller Designs occupied when it outgrew the garage. Ultimately, Fuller purchased the property and recently added a new building that houses his two businesses as well as tenant Evolution Health, which occupies about one-third of the space.

While COVID-19 may have detracted some builders from expanding their leased space, Fuller felt confident his new venture would succeed. He said “build a quality product and the tenants will come.”

Fuller Designs has been the engineer for many local projects throughout Lewis County and outlying areas. Some notable projects include: Multiple subdivisions in Winlock and Chehalis; the Ice Kiosk currently being built on North National Ave; the Chehalis Pharmacy; and Castleberry Commercial located on the corner of North National Avenue and Coal Creek Road.

Fuller Designs is getting ready to design an apartment complex in Centralia and a truck stop off Exit 63, along with many more to come.

Waymaker Developments is the general contractor for the Castleberry Commercial site.
