A gun was reportedly displayed during a robbery at the Lewis County Coffee Co. stand on South Tower Avenue in Centralia on Monday.

No injuries were reported.

The incident was reported roughly between 2:45 p.m. and 3 p.m., according to the Centralia Police Department.

The unidentified suspect reportedly displayed a gun and “took off running,” at which time “the victim also took off running,” according to Centralia Police Chief Stacy Denham.

The Centralia Police Department deployed two K9s to search the area.

The business likely got a security surveillance video of the suspect, according to Denham, who said the police department will likely post the video to its Facebook page once officers finish extracting it from the business’s system.

The incident was still under investigation Monday afternoon.
