Gunfire has state troopers seeking two cars carrying people wearing ski masks

Washington state troopers are seeking witnesses to a drive-by shooting that involved two Kia sedans last week.

The shooting took place on state Route 16 near Union Avenue in Tacoma on Nov. 21. The shooting happened about 1:40 p.m. after occupants of a white Kia Soul shot at a gray Chevrolet, shattering a window. There were reportedly four people in the white Kia Soul,  according to a Washington State Patrol news release.

Three of the people in the white Kia were wearing ski masks. There was a black Kia sedan reportedly seen driving behind the white Kia at the time. There were four people in the black Kia wearing ski masks and believed to be associated with the shooting suspect's car, the release said.



No one was injured, the release said.
