The historic Lewis and Clark Building located in downtown Centralia has been put up for sale by the owners.
Realty World Cosser & Associates is the agency working to sell the building, but declined to comment on the sale.
According to the property’s listing on corcoran.com, the sale price is $10.5 million and the building has approximately 55,100 square feet of space. The listing described the building as, “Meticulously maintained with 54 units, 55 and over, and five-year HUD (Housing and Urban Development) contract and boasts a very stable tenant population.”
Originally constructed in 1927, according to the Lewis & Clark Event Center website, the building was first used as a hotel with 110 rooms. It was later converted into a senior living apartment complex and then purchased by the Brumfield family in 1999, which restored the building to its original design.
The building is more than just a senior living complex. It also has an event center for rent and business rental space on the ground floor.
